MULTI Software Development Environment is a complete integrated development environment for embedded applications using C, C++, EC++, FORTRAN, and Ada 95 languages.
MULTI provides a direct graphical interface with all Green Hills compilers, and
supports multi-language development and debugging.
MULTI contains all of the tools you need to complete a major programming project:
Project Builder
Source Level Debugger
Performance Profiler
Run-time Error Checking
Graphical Browser
Text Editor
Version Control System
MULTI provides a host-based (Windows 95/NT PC or UNIX workstation) graphical
environment for V800 target development. Host-target connectivity is provided through a variety of means, depending on the target environment. MULTI supports many V800
targets, including evaluation boards from NEC. These boards can be accessed with a
variety of interfaces
MULTI debugger needs Servers in order to communicate with Simulator, Emulator,
ROM Monitor. In other words, you can connect MULTI with various kinds of targets just
by changing Servers. |

Simulator Debugger: MULTI Source Level Debugger and Simulator connected.

Simulator is ISS(Instruction Set Simulator) level. Simulator debugging environment is
established with MULTI Source Level Debugger and GHS' Instruction Set Simulator(ISS).
Also, by using SimI/O function, it will be possible to develop device drivers prior
to completion of hardware (processors and boards).

Standard Monitor Server is provided in order to connect MULTI Source Level Debugger and GHS' ROM Monitor. By porting ROM Monitor on the target board, it is possible to
establish monitor debugging environment.
